Manu:facture ist ein DJ und Produzent, elektronischer Musik.
2006 begann er sich mit Platten und Ableton Live zu befassen und verbesserte nach und nach seine Fähigkeiten. Nach einigen Privatpartys wurde er 2008 von Boogee Basement eingeladen und wurde bald zum Resident des Electrofloors der Partyreihe "Worst Of The 90's" in der Postgarage.
Auch als Produzent erlangte er zunehmend Berühmtheit und arbeitet bereits mit vielen lokalen Musikern zusammen. Derzeit komponiert er Musik für den Dancefloor, welche stets gekennzeichnet ist durch die tiefen, sphärischen Bässe.

Fascinated and inspired by listening to Hip Hop, Funk and Jazz records, he was willing to discover different spheres of sound. By that time (1996), even before he finally discovered turntables and their use in Electronic Music, he started to express his creativity by spinning Hip Hop and Jazz records. Though, not willing to lose the feeling of live instruments and their charming spontaneity he co-operated with bands as a DJ. During this time, collecting valuable and important experience by playing live concerts, he got insight in the process of producing and recording tracks. Nevertheless the reason why M.A.R.S. became a DJ was his passion for rhythm, so he turned more and more to House and Techno. Till today he perceives himself rather as an artist sensitive to the mood of the club than as a technician. For him it is important to play live and to feel the direct connection between himself, his instruments and the people in the club.
Mit diesem Soundtrack im Kopf zieht ricky rock nach Graz und versucht zunächst als Konsument seinen Anspruch an urbane Freizeit- und Abendgestaltung aufrecht zu erhalten. Das stellt sich jedoch als schwierig heraus. Also muss er selbst aktiv werden und fängt an aufzulegen.
Am Ende hat Graz doch mehr zu bieten und vor allem eine gut sortierte Electronica Abteilung im Plattenladen seines Vertrauens.
Trotzdem ist es irgendwann Zeit zu gehen und ricky landet in München. Hier ist zufällig das Gomma Label zuhause und Mjunik Disco der Sound der Stunde. Ricky nimmt es dankbar auf ins Repertoir seiner Biografie.
